Blessed Love

Yeah!!! Today’s a public holiday and I’m taking a break from work.

Just wanna thank God again for His faithfulness and provisions. HE is AMAZING!!!

The Bible tells us: “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:31-33

The reality is even when we fail to seek Him, He is still seeking after us. I’m so touched and humbled by His love for us. Jesus ROCKS!!!!

It wasn’t an easy decision for me to decide to work on guitars full time. I took the plunge or rather the step of faith in July 2005 and He was more than meet my needs. I admit there’s been times when I sweated bullets but He is faithful and has never let me down unlike me who’s let Him down on many occasions.

By His grace, love and strength, I will continue to delight in Him and the desire of my heart will be fulfilled. Psalm 37:4

I was up till 2am working on guitars last night. A couple of us attended the official CD launch of a friend’s band last night and we had a pretty good time!!! I was tired after the concert but at the same time, I was inspired to work on guitars after I got home.

Bad mistake. On hindsight, I should’ve rested. I’m one of those who can’t sleep in and was up by 7am this morning. I’ve been hitting the sack way past midnight and up at 7am the past week and I’m beginning to feel like a zombie.

Thank God I was up early today. I got a call from my all time favorite “uncle” at 9am. He’s is none other than uncle Dave, the father of Lisa Redick. It was wonderful to catch up with uncle Dave and aunt Lillie. I miss them so much. Uncle Dave hasn’t been feeling well lately and it was reassuring to hear his voice this morning.

I actually feel bad not calling them. They’re usually the ones who call me but I do write them regularly; at least once a month to update them of what’s happening. Thank God for budget phone calls.

Uncle Dave is concerned about a business decision that I’m considering and called me to share some thoughts with me. I’m so appreciative and blessed by the love and concern of these 2 elderly couple.

Thanks to the encouragement of my buds and loved ones around me, I took a step of faith and committed to my largest order yet with my American vendors.

June will be an interesting month and regardless what happens, I know He is in control and “all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28
