Bible and sandpapers
Hehe:) Had a sense of déjà vu this afternoon. I met up with Sid at Tiong Bahru MRT and after a quick bite at Mickey D; we headed down to SKS Books Warehouse to get him a Bible. After some comparison and recommendation, he settled for a hard cover ESV – English Standard version, Bible. I figured since he’ll be alone at sea most of the time, he should have an easy to read/understand Bible.
I got myself a couple of worship CDs and a book by Chip Ingram.
We walked down to Great World City as there a hardware store in the vicinity where I usually purchase the necessary sandpapers for my work. Got my stuff and we hung out for a bit at Great World City.
A shuttle bus ride took us to Orchard Road where we parted ways.
It seems not too long ago where I went through the whole rigmarole with a certain young man who’s growing very well in the LordJ I pray that by His grace, I would be able to repeat the whole rigmarole again soon.
I love browsing the aisle at SKS and Campus Crusade. There’re so much stuff I would like to get but one have to be a wise steward and prudent.
It looks like an easy week ahead. No repair appointments yet but I hope this is the calm before the storm. I would definitely love to get my hands dirty soon.
Some news on the apartment hunt. The Bt Panjang owner wants more $$$ for the apartment and I passed.
I had a wonderful seafood dinner with my bud and his wife and some friends Sunday evening and they feel I should stick to the east. Almost all my guitar repair clients would like for me to relocate to somewhere in the east or at least accessible by ECP. Decisions, decisions………………………..
