Leaving on a jet plane

I was at the airport with Kim Cheong, my bud and Hwee Min, his lovely and always beautiful wife last night to send off the Redicks and Chee Keen. Picture was taken just before they went through immigration. They should arrive at their final destination this morning. Although they’ve only been gone for less than 24 hours, I miss them already.

I miss pastor Mike. He's been on a punishing travel schedule this year and it doesn't looks like it'll be letting up anytime soon. The Redicks return October 9 for 2 weeks before heading to the Philippines again. Myanmar’s next after the Philippines. They’ll be home in December but come 2007, they’ll be hitting the good ol’ U.S. of A again and guess who’ll be joining them :p Hehehehe :D I love traveling with the Redicks. They’re a blast to be with and there’s never a dull moment with them :D

I thank God for the opportunity to hang out and touch base with PM last Sunday. It’s been a while since we connected on a personal level. Thank God also for the powerful message that ministered to the hearts of the visitors and fellow believers. C’mon guys, let’s burn for Christ!!! Let’s live our lives as if today’s the day of the Rapture!!!

PM sold me on the idea of going to the Philippines with them in Oct. Not that I need any motivation to visit our fellow co-laborers in the Philippines. I was bummed out that we didn’t make it to the last evangelistic campaign. I love the people in the Philippines and God willing, we’ll be sharpening each other irons come October.

God’s hand is clearly upon the ministries of the Redicks!!! They’ve been such a positive and powerful influence in my life and ministry and the lives of others as well. I thank God for crossing our paths and for their love and acceptance for me. PM, Lisa and myself are literally brothers and sisters. I have no qualms in sharing anything and everything about what’s going on with me and my honest and often acerbic opinions with them. When the latter happens, you can be sure I’ll be immediately admonished followed by a swift physical reaction from Lisa that’ll help me remember what she just said.

I used to think I’ve got the best job in the world but I would love to ravel the world telling people about Jesus and how to have a relationship with Him. The Redicks and Kim Cheong fuel my passion for evangelism. I definitely subscribe to the thought that the people we hang out with influence our way of life.

In closing, please remember the Redicks and Chee Keen in prayer. They’re venturing in faith into dangerous grounds so the name of Christ is lifted up.

God speed PM, Lisa and CK :)
